Weekdays are perfect to check out this amazing show at the US Botanic Gardens in DC! Amazing holiday display with model trains, poinsettias and landmarks made of leaves, sticks and many other garden accouterments!

Super Saver Ice Skating!
Huge indoor ice skating rink with a warming hut and a snack bar – what else do you need?! We did this before & enjoyed it; they have these plastic push things (words…?) to guide a beginner along.

Cost: $4 (skate rental included)!
Gymnastics Workshop / Open Gym at PG Sports & Learning Complex
This place is really great for 1-12 year olds! HUGE. Two climbing walls. Two foam pits. Tons of equipment for curious ones to explore and blow off some steam. Check out our time at Open Gym here!

Holiday Trains & Planes
Miniature trains, villages, tunnels, and depots spark the imagination as they bring history to live. The National Capital Trackers bring a fascinating, constantly moving, holiday-themed display of model railroads to the museum.
Where: College Park Aviation Museum, 1985 Cprl. Frank Scott Drive, College Park
Cost: $5/adults; $2 child; free ages 1 & under.
I really don’t need to provide a description for this movie and if I do, it’s probably not your type of flick. 😉 Anyhoo – be forewarned/reminded: There’s talk in the movie questioning the existence of Jolly St. Nick – so proceed accordingly. And whatever you do, buy a bag of popcorn. It’s really delish and made with coconut oil!!

Jitterbug Club (Ages 2-6)
New class! Kiddos 2-6 will love this open play date filled with movement, music and fun (taught by Kendra and Marcel, 2 instructors at Joe’s who are SOOOO good with kids and who the kiddos love!)

ICE! featuring a Charlie Brown Christmas (Best for ages 4+)
This indoor winter wonderland features 2 million pounds of colorful ice sculptures depicting the story of A Charlie Brown Christmas with four 2-story tall ice slides and a full nativity scene!
