Splashing at Bear Square is one of our favorite summer activities around Route One.
It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over. Okay, technically, summer lasts until September 22, but let’s be real. With teachers heading back to their classrooms next week to prepare for the return of students and kids back in school the week after that, summer is surely winding down. But you can still make the most of it.
It’s the end of Maryland tax-free week, so you can justify that shopping spree you’ve been putting off AND check off some items on the kids’ school supply lists. Afterward, swing by one of several back-to-school events in our area, or enjoy the unseasonably cool weather with live music, an outdoor movie, or a classic car show this weekend.
