It’s Tuesday! (Just in case needed a reminder, like me.) Let us all know what you’re seeing at our local grocery stores, please! Special requests for info on produce, flour, yeast and paper products. Also, we’ve heard now from multiples folks that there’s little social distancing support or enforcement happening at Lidl, Aldi and Giant. 😞
Also, if you’re a senior or immunocompromised (this includes pregnant women), please know that a growing number of local stores offer special shopping hours. Please see our guide to Grocery Stores with Special Shopping Hours for Seniors & Vulnerable Shoppers. Stay safe, friends. 🙏🏻

Browniecurls shares: “Hyattsville Giant around 1 PM had decent amount of canned beans, good produce, some random pasta, plenty of eggs. Wasn’t too crowded at all, reports my husband”
I live in Hyattsville near the University of Md., and just recently found out that Aldi delivers. I placed my first order last week and it arrived the same day.
Anna Y shares: “Just left Whole Foods – there were only 3 bags of flour left when I picked some up. Lots of fresh produce (they were also being restocked at the time).”
No flour at Safeway (at 6am). (They are open starting at 5am). Plenty of produce and Honeycrisp apples are on sale!
They had some corn tortillas.
7am to 9am on T/Th is Senior/Immune Compromised time.
Social distancing is a lot easier at 6am.
Thank you!
Yesterday at Wegmans I was able to get bread flour and yeast- small packages only.
Thank you!
