Open Gym at PG Sports & Learning Complex
If you haven’t checked this place out yet with your energetic 1-12 year old(s), check it out! This place is really great. HUGE. Two climbing walls. Two foam pits. Tons of equipment for curious ones to explore and blow off some steam. Very clean. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parents are required to be on the floor with the children (Maximum 3 child:1 adult).

UP Spring Porchfest

Rollingcrest-Chillum Splash Pool
If it’s too hot to be outside but the kids still want to play in the water, Rollingcrest is always a great option! It’s mostly indoors and is practically a water amusement park. It’s fantastic though does get packed so would advise to either go right at the beginning or towards closing hours.

Learn how to make your very own doll by joining the Riverdale Park Doll Study Club. Club Founder Emily Fanning shows girls ages 7+ how to make their own dolls, clothing, dollhouses and furnishings. Volunteer Jennifer Fairfax teaches knitting and other fabrics arts. Local artists show the girls how to make miniature paintings for their dollhouse, write a story for their doll, and use a sewing machine to make doll outfits. Inquire about their free summer camp during the last 2 weeks of June.
