Need to get your hair did for an upcoming event? Well, the Route 1 corridor just got a sweet new blowout salon to call its own: Hair + Space Blowdry Beauty Bar. This chic, new blowdry and beauty bar founded by UMD graduate, Regina Holbert, specializes in caring for hair of every ethnicity, cut and coil. Lucky for us, the blowdry bar just opened in the College Park Shopping Center on Route 1, above Starbucks.

Will you and your coiff be getting a blowout, a scalp scrub, deep condition/mask, healthy trim, braid, updo – or maybe all of the above? Yes, these are all of the services offered to date at this swank new salon founded by University of Maryland graduate, Regina Holbert.

According to the website, Regina’s goal was to “create a chic space that had the perfect chemistry of speed of service, luxury, and inclusion. Hair+Space is a beauty hub that caters to all women and prides itself on diversity and inclusion. Every ethnicity and every hair type can feel confident that they will get stellar service from a professional that knows their hair. Are we the only blowout bar? No, but ours is out of this world.” While they don’t install extensions at this time, they do wash, dry and style clients who have them.
