Who throws the *BEST* parties this stretch of the Route 1 Corridor? Why, Pyramid Atlantic, of course! Their HyBall (Hyattsville Ball) arts parties / fundraisers are notorious for producing the type of over-the-top fun that makes the morning after full of wonderful recaps, hilarious photo ops and perhaps momentary befuddlement, i.e. Did we really do that?!? Why did you let me do that? Let’s do that again next year! This year’s “Roadside Attraction” themed HyBall is happening on Saturday, February 29th. More on this wonderfully fun fundraiser and ticket information below!

Brentwood Arts Exchange: “From Baltimore With Love”
Stopped by the Brentwood Arts Exchange lately? This gallery along the Route 1 corridor is a gem of a find – consistently full of beautifully curated exhibits that give us both pause and wonder. And it’s free to thee. Or maybe you just head out by yourself.
Route 1 Gets New Mural in Downtown College Park
There’s a new mural in town – this time just above Nando’s Peri-Peri in College Park! This vibrant new public art just off the Route 1 corridor features native Maryland species including Baltimore’s Checkerspot Butterfly, Black-eyed Susan and a Diamondback Terrapin. (Notice, too, its incorporation of the Maryland flag’s gold, black, white and red colors.)
