Dance, Dance, Party, Party is back in Hyattsville! Opening reception for Craftowne, A Visual Novel is happening in Mount Rainier. A Perfectly Imperfect Ceramics Sale will help you get a head-start on your holiday shopping (I love mugs, btw ๐). Into the Air Literary Music Salon and Mary Amato’s book release party at My Dead Aunt’s Books. Red Dirt hosts its open studio annndddd, if you take a look under Sunday’s listings, you’ll notice a new section: The Week Ahead, featuring upcoming weekday events that are sure to interest all of y’all (like upcoming free community ride at College Park’s newest spinning studio!) Riverdale Park Farmers Market
One of my fave farmers markets! We love strolling around the Riverdale Park Farmers Market, buying some fresh, local produce, grabbing a bite from one of the vendors and then heading to Town Center Market for a tasty beverage.

Opening Reception for Craftowne: A Visual Novel
Craftowne is a graphic novel that you can walk through. It tells stories in and around a planned suburban community and the people that live in the community. Please join us for the opening reception! Meet the artist, hear about the inpspiration behind the work, and play Craftowne the Card Game. Light refreshments will be served.

The Sunrise Review Live at the Listening Room
The Sunrise Review uses nature as inspiration for music compositions. Solar-powered recording equipment allows these natural spaces to function as a studio as well, adding a unique production style and project narrative.

Saturday Social ๐ฒ Ride
Our regular Saturday morning easy ride to points south in search of food and drink and fun! Some on road riding, but mostly trails, mostly flat, usually 12-16 miles round trip. Bring cash/cc, lock. Helmet required. Children are welcome if they are confident on 2 wheels and can ride 10 miles, or are attached to a parent’s bike (trailer or bike seat).When: 11:15am-1:15pm

Into the Air Literary Music Salon
Nicole Saphos (DC based indie-jazz singer, songwriter and upright bassist): Nicole carries a serious punch with her vocals and songwriting as well. Amy K Bormet is an in-demand pianist, vocalist and composer. As an advocate for women in music, Amy created the Washington Women in Jazz Festival in 2011 and continues to serve as executive director.

The Baxter Theatre Centre’s The Fall
The Fall is presented by the Baxter Theatre Centre’s University of Cape Town, in collaboration with Studio Theatre and created by the company. As a statue of imperialist Cecil Rhodes was dismantled at the University of Cape Town, eight students wrote The Fall, charting their experiences as activists who brought down a statue and then grappled with what was left standing in its wake: the legacies of race, class, gender, history and power 24 years after the official end of Apartheid.
